King’s College London Location
KCL has no central campus, which means that London is your entire playground! The majority of KCL’s departments and library are located right next to the River Thames, in the heart of the city. One of the most beautiful parts of the university is the KCL Somerset House wing, which is part of some of the oldest architecture in London.
Your graduation will even be as central as your university, making it a truly London experience!
King’s College London Accommodation
The accommodation offered by KCL is mostly as central as its location. Depending on your personality, you could choose to live in a wide range of areas in London. If you like being central and going to food markets, the Tower Bridge option is right next to Borough Market, and Moonraker Point is within walking distance and offers a wide range of rooms, from ensuites to studios. If you don’t mind a short commute and would prefer a slightly cheaper rent rate, Angel Lane in Stratford is one of the newer, more modern developments with a direct tube line to lectures.
The Places to Be
As well as studying, you’ll want to have fun during your university years in London! The unofficial main bar for KCL is the Walkabout on Embankment – watch for the mid-week students nights where everyone heads there before a big night out. On-campus, you have a variety of choices – you have three student bars to pick from! Guy’s Bar, Philosophy Bar and The Vault are serving drinks every night, and have dedicated events every so often. The University
King’s College London is known as one of the best universities in the world, and one of the top choices in London.
